Green Attitude: three actions to make sorting a habit

VIPRO's campaign starts from the people of Kinshasa who already sort. It moves commune by commune, with the city's schools, markets and artists.

Sorting your waste takes a small effort every day. Green Attitude is the campaign that helps that effort become a habit, commune by commune.

The three actions

Taking the Green Attitude pledge means committing to three simple actions:

  • I keep food waste apart from plastic at home.
  • I no longer burn my waste.
  • I tell two neighbours about it.

The first can start tonight: food scraps on one side, plastic on the other. Everything else follows from there.

In schools and markets

The campaign will go where the city gathers. In schools, children will learn the three coloured bins: organic, plastic, other. In markets, sellers and customers will sort in the same place. Artists from the city will carry the message in their own words.

See how many neighbours have signed up

Every pledge counts for its commune. Once you have taken your three actions, you see how many people near you have already done the same. Then show the page to two neighbours.

To start: take the pledge.
